Job Summary:
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in helping to keep the building and grounds maintained. You will primarily support the Maintenance Manager by helping with a variety of maintenance tasks.
Reporting:
The Maintenance Tech reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist Maintenance Manager with machine and equipment repairs.
- Minor to Moderate building repairs that include but are not limited to light construction, painting, minor plumbing and electrical, moving equipment, disassembling/reassembling equipment, etc.
- Maintain grounds around the building by mowing, treating weeds, and cleaning.
- Cleaning on the manufacturing floor.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 1 year experience.
- Experience with sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks.
- Able to perform physical tasks (lifting, climbing, standing, bending).
- Diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and results-driven.
- Proactively promotes safety.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.
Measures of Success:
- Maintenance Manager is well supported.
- Building and grounds are well maintained.
Hours:
Monday - Friday / 7:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. (Occasional overtime).
